Neon Circuit doesn't waste your time. There's no lengthy tutorial, no garage full of menus — you pick a car and you're on the grid in seconds. That focus is its greatest strength.
Handling that clicks
The drift-to-boost system is the heart of the game. Holding a clean drift fills your boost meter, and releasing it at the right moment slingshots you out of the corner. It takes a few races to feel natural, and after that it's hard to stop.
Tracks worth learning
Each of the twelve tracks hides shortcuts that reward exploration. Finding them feels great, and taking them consistently feels even better.
- Tight downtown circuits test precision.
- Wide highway tracks are all about slipstreaming.
- Night-market routes throw in sharp elevation changes.
Where it falls short
The single-player career is short, and a few later tracks feel similar. We'd love more variety in environments.
